My cats eat "Naturals," by Purina. They are defecating and eating continuosly. When I had them on Nutro this wasn’t so. There’s quality differences in brand, one’s better for cats? These brands aren’t just marked up brands?

My vet said that brands such as Friskies, Whiskas and Purina were not nutritious and would harm my cat later in life, but recommended the Hills Brand. I did research and found that Hills is somewhat unhealthy too. Which brand of wet or dry foods is best?

I feed my cats Purina Heathful Life dry food, and Fancy Feast Elegants wet food… They enjoy all of this and it’s the more expensive brand over Friskies and what not…. BUT I still don’t know if it is good for them. I want to give them the best care ever and have thought of going on a raw meat diet but that’s alot of work… They are aged 4 and 10. Any advice?

I heard that IAMS among most other popular pet foods cruelly test on animals. (Purina, Science Diet, IAMS, Whiskas, etc.) What in the hell food am I supposed to buy? I don’t want to support cruel treatment, but the list I saw was of all the foods I’ve ever heard of. What can I buy and where can I go?
I’ve been using IAMs because I thought it was safe and high quality….

He’s about 20lbs.He’s our only cat & his bowl always has food.We’ve been feeding him purina indoor formula.We’d like to upgrade to a food that’s reasonably priced & easier for him to digest.I saw someone mention friskies dental care has bigger morsels,But wouldn’t the ingredients be the same? if you see someone answer a question about feeding their dog iams or pdeigree or purina, they get bombarded with tds. honestly, are we so immature that we td people who feed the dog lesser quality food?

and to make this legit, what do you feed YOUR dog?

i feed nutro and im aware that its not the best, but i tried canidae and it literally sucked, sucked the weight off my dogs.

I give kitten "purina kitten food" and in separate bowl i give Scientific Diet wet food. makesure the kitten has water in the water bowl and kitten drinks water and eats the dry food"Purina" but not the wet food"Scientific Diet".

I know I have asked this before but I am still having trouble. I changed my litter from fresh step to tidy cats small spaces for multiple cats but it is still horrible. Honestly it smells kinda like dead rat if you know what I am talking about. I clean it every day at least twice a day. I used to empty it once a week but now that I switched to the new litter I have to change it twice a week. I have inlaws coming over this coming weekend and I don’t want it to smell like kitty litter in my house.

Should I change his food? He eats the canned friskies from purina (eating half a can in the morning and the rest at night) and the dry food during the day. He really won’t eat that much dry food. What’s the best kind of wet food that won’t make him smell so bad? He only likes the completely pureed food.
