If not then what is some good quality dog food that I can feed my pomeranian puppy without spending alot of money?
Also in my opinion I thought the more you paid the better the quality;
For example where im from Purina cost about 35 dollars for a small bag.
But my dog doesnt eat it so I didnt think it was good quality.
But I dont wanna keep wasting all my money on different dog foods if my dog hates it.

My dog has to lose about 8 lbs and my vet recommended Science Diet Light or MediCal (dry dog food). I’m leaning towards Science Diet Light because the MediCal is very expensive. However I’ve read some mixed reviews about the Science Diet food. Does it have a lot of filler junk in it or is it a good quality dog food. My dog needs a low calorie, low fat dry dog food.

Someone just stated on Yahoo that there has been a recall. Is this at all true, and if so where can I read about it? This is such a high quality dog food I find it very hard to believe.

We’ve been using Purina One for the longest time for our 2 Huskies. It has worked wonders on their coats. Both of them being abandoned had rough thin coats. Which are now thicker and shinier. Our cats, although have been using Nutro since we’ve had them.
Lately i’ve been thinking about giving Nutro a try for the dogs. Does anyone use it? Is there really a difference? And is there any reason why Nutro would be a bad choice when switching to a higher quality dog food?

I would like to feed my dogs a good quality dog food with good ingredients but dont have the money to spend on a really expensive brand. I have been with Purina but from what Im hearing that is not a very good brand of food. I dont really have the time to compare every label for the ingredients. Any suggestions and why its a good food would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I’m thinking of purchasing a high quality dog food such as canidae or innova but adding maybe a raw chicken leg. I’m not planning to mix them together, but maybe throw a chicken leg for breakfest then the other 2 meals would be the dog food. Is this acceptable and since it’s raw i’m thinking the pup will get some benefits.
