Just curious
For a year or so I have been using simple solutions natural lavender shampoo for my dog. Love it. She smells good, it’s easy on her skin, it makes her fur shine, and lavender oil fights fleas (bonus)! I just use a wash cloth and scrub her down

Dog allergies are one of the most common conditions affecting dogs. Dog allergies can be very frustrating for both yourself and your dog. The constant itching and scratching, paw licking and chewing, skin rashes or chronic ear infections can make life very unpleasant.
For itchy skin, try an oatmeal shampoo bath with cool water – this can ease the itchiest skin. Leave the shampoo on for 10 minutes then rinse well. With the most severe allergies, bathe your pet twice weekly. Also, Calendula ointment (herbal medication) has been successfully used to relieve the itch. Apply a thin coat twice daily to affected areas.
I haven’t got enough space to give full details so if you are interested in your pet and how to care for it properly visit

Unfortunately my daughters insurance just got cancelled.
She has a bald spot on the side of her head and it has gradually gotten bigger. A couple people suggested it could be a fungal infection or scalp ringworm. I was told Lamisil may help it or some type of anitfungal cream or shampoo. Any suggestions?
BTW we are working on getting her insurance but I want to take care of this situation sooner then later.
Thanks for your help

I need to get the money to pay for all the starting things I need for a dog before I actually get the dog. I need a crate, some toys, a collar, dog tags, a leash, a harness, some treats, food, food and water bowls, dog bed, brush, shampoo, and anything else I will need. How much do you think it will be? Its for a weiner dog!

I would like to start a pet grooming service, like I would brush them, brush their teeth, wash them, and clip their nails. But how would I start?! I’m completely lost on what I would need to start the business. I would obviously need a brush or two, shampoo for dogs and cats, toothbrushes, pet toothpaste, etc.I don’t think I would clip them, and shave their hair or stuff because I just can’t do that.
So what stuff do I need to start the business?
What should I name the business?
Where should I get my supplies?
Thanks!!

The vet said it wasn’t ringworm, but it is round patches, they both have them. The vet has given antibiotics and prednisone. One is on an allergy diet. I bathe them with a shampoo that contains triclosan, sulfur, and salicylic acid. It’s just getting worse. Should I add tea tree to the shampoo? Can I try tinactin?
I haven’t caught it, neither has the cat. Dr. also said it wasn’t mange, but he hasn’t said what it is either.
Jess, yes, I am looking for home remedies, since my multiple visits to the vet haven’t stopped the problem. Where do you think I got the antibiotics and prednisone? But I don’t recall him actually testing, just eyeballing and treating.
I am asking about Tinactin because I think it looks like ringworm, even though the vet said it wasn’t, and because the other treatments were not stopping the spread.

Okay…I took my 2 feral kittens to the Vet on Friday and was given meds and shampoo for ringworm, stomach bacterial infection and ear mites. How long should I keep them quarantined? What is the best disinfectant to use to clean the bathroom I’m keeping them in (it is carpeted)? No other animals nor people have signs of fungus…but, I’m worried. Please help.
