I work at a thrift store(Unique thrift store) and we have TONS of used dog/cat stuff. I honestly think its just a bit gross to use some used pet items, but that’s just me and my mom is a germ freak and she says its unsafe so we never do(though I have nothing against it, its just weird to me). Most of the stuff is usually bowls, crates/carriers and sometimes shampoo and clothes. What is your opinion on buying used stuff for your dogs? What is ok and not ok to buy that is used? Is it unsafe?

We don’t have dog shampoo right now, and can’t get dog shampoo now. My 9 month old female boxer has very sensitive skin, and I don’t want to irritate her skin. She really needs a bath, and I’m not sure what to use.

A shampoo that does it all moisturize,helps with dry skin,gives a shiny coat and helps with odor. I have an dog that loves being outdoors and that is where I spend my time with him playing and going for walks so he gets pretty dirty.

my bunny is in desperate need of a bath he is stinky. people say not to use human shampoo on a bunny and right now i have dog shampoo can i use that?? i looked on google and it kept coming up with everything but what i asked. please help and only answer if you really know i dont want anything to happen to my bunny

So I have a 14 year old bichon frise who is constantly itching and biting herself, resulting in pink patches all over her. She also has really sensitive skin, and a really bad odor…but that’s probably due to her old age. What is the best dog shampoo to help relieve her discomfort and fight her terrible odor?
She doesn’t have yeast haha. The pink on her skin isn’t severe, it’s really just on her paws which is because that is where she bites herself the most.

My two dogs, both are 11 months old, have just played their hearts out and rolled into their dog doo. I have no more dog shampoo left and I need to wash them pronto! Is there something besides dog shampoo I can use to wash them as of course I don’t want to irritate their skin or hurt them in any way? Thank you for your answers.

we just got a lab/springer spaniel mix yesterday and we bought stuff before we took her home

we already have a nail clipper for my other dog and a brush(is it ok to let them use the same brush?)
