I put a foam pad in her crate and she shredded it . Now she sleeps on towels. She has not touched the two dog beds in the den. However the outdoor beds are a problem. She took the stuffing out of one and chewed on the other bed. For a while I kept putting the stuffing back in. The other two dogs do not seem to mind. Since the weather became cold last week, I put a new bed in one of the dog houses and new bed on the porch. She shredded both to usless pieces. I put bitter apple on them, but it did not prevent having clusters of fluff all over the lawn. She shreds soft toys, so I take out the squeakers, This helps them last a bit longer. I have told her "bad" and shoved bits of stuffing in her face several times in the past few months. I can’t catch her in the act! She only likes to chew fluffy toys, sticks and rawhide. This is getting expensive!
She gets exercise by weekly outings to the creek, running around the half acre yard with the other two dogs, chasing squirrels, birds, and every one who walks or drives by, and playing ball every day. I imagine she may be bored. Sometimes the other dogs get tired of playing with her.

I have a hybrid kitten, a savannah to be exact, and I can’t keep him away from the toilet paper! I’ve tried hanging it under instead of over and hiding it behind a towel on the toilet’s water tank, but he always finds it, shreds it to bits, and then spreads those little bits around when he plays with it.

I’ll admit I’m somewhat amused by his antics, but my roommates, although amused, are probably not as amused as I am.

I can’t punish him with water, he LOVES it, and he doesn’t seem nearly as averse to citrus as my domestic cat.

Any suggestions, tips, or tricks?
Just wanted to note that he has many, MANY toys to play with, including my other cat. I understand he is just playing, but I don’t think it improper to teach him what is OK for him to play with and what is not.

I doubt he’ll grow out of it. He’s been neutered, is 7 months old, and hasn’t showed any signs of slowing – he just keeps getting more clever! He also opens cupboards, steals food, and has learned how to get into the lidded garbage can.

I love that he’s such an active, interactive cat, but with the good comes the bad, huh?

A cabinet sounds good. I’ll see if I can’t find a small one and then put a childproof lock on it.

A lot of trouble for a wipe! =P

About 2 weeks ago, I bought a toy mouse stuffed with catnip, and I didn’t think it was a big deal, but when I gave it to him he got too crazy and I had to take it away. Just now he found where I hid it and now he’s high off of it, how long does it last?!
He’s out of control!
Are you kidding me, he’s a little wolverine! He ripped it to shreds!!

What to use for bird cage liner?

My birds are really, really messy. But the thing is – if we use liner it tears it up and rips it to shreds, which can’t be healthy for it. But it also makes a crapload of a mess and it’s not like we can wash the cage every day…
What can we do?

How to litter box train a pet bunny?

I have reserched this in good detail. However, the bunny still does not go in the litter box. He moves the litter box out of the corner of his cage and goes behind it. I have even duct-taped the box to the cage and he chews the tape and moves the litter box. It is crazy . Any help would be great. I have had him since Christmas. I have tried all I know to try.
I have tried lining the cage with paper- he just shreds it – what are other options to line the cage with. He will not use it if the paper is there – that is until he tears it all up.

I love my kitten, and wouldn’t thinking of getting rid of her, but when we jumps up on the couch, she scratches it to shreds. Just the surface but they’re brand new! What do I do?

The crate I have my dog in does not have a trey in it. So he sits in the crate and some how he has managed a way to move the crate from the kitchen to the living room fireplace. And along the way he pulls in whater peace of paper or plastic he can find and rips it to shreds. He made his way to my blinds and tore them to pieces. I dont know what to do. I have twins on the way and if he keeps this up he has to go.

Such a thing as an "unchewable" dog bed!?

I have a 9 mo old yellow lab pup who has gone through several dog beds already- she chews them to shreds, takes out the filling and even eats the material. Does anyone know of a super strong dog bed to go inside a crate?
Yes, she’s crated when we’re not home, but she always has an assortment of toys in there to chew on.

Appropriate Cat Treats?

I have tried giving her store bought treats specifically for cats. I have tried giving her wet food. I have tried giving her tuna (she drinks the liquid but leaves the tuna). I have tried tiny shreds of chicken. I have tried chicken baby food (someone said that they enjoy it – not my cat!). I would like to be able to give my cat a treat every once in a while but I can’t find anything she will eat other than her regular dry food!
