What type of bed can i get a destructive dog?

I have bought my dog well over 1- beds all different kinds and types, each one she tears and shreds within hours, The zipper is the first thing to go then the stuffin or foam, buy the time i wake in the morning it’s just a big pile of trash. What kind of bed can i get her that she can’t destroy?

We have used old bed comforters and even bought her a dog bed from Sam’s that had a canvas like material cover. All chewed to shreds!! I have heard things like hay or hampster bedding but don’t want it all over the kitchen floor which is where we keep her crate. The dog is a 11 month old American Bulldog.

I have a 7 month old male Bull Terrier which I have had since the age of 2 months. Ever since I got him he liked to chew, but as he has got older his antics are becoming more destructive more quickly.

I am now on to dog bed no.13, i’ve tried every kind, even indestructible Gortex beds costing over £50 and he still rips them to shreds in no time. So today, I bought some carpet samples approx 1.5 metres long to go in his cage and within under a minute he had annihilated an area about 6" x 10".

Is this just a phase or is there a reason for him doing it? (he has chewed ever since I got him). He gets plenty of walks everyday – morning, noon and evening and has lots of play time and so many toys that sometimes it’s difficult to walk around the house without tripping over one. He also has a little brother (4 month old Bullmastiif) to play with.

Any advice greatly appreciated, plus I also feel guilty for leaving him on carpet now, but at his current rate i’ll be spending well over £1000 per year on dog beds!!

How can I make my dog not tear up her bed?

My dog sleeps in her kennel at night. I buy dog beds for her to sleep on and everytime I do that she tears it up in there. I wake up only to find her bed in shreds inside her kennel. But when she sleeps in there for a nap during the day nothing happens. It’s cold now and she still chews up her bed and I feel so bad because she’s probably cold, but not matter how many beds I get her the same thing happens. What can I do so that she doesn’t chew up her bed when she sleeps at night?
