I have a 2 month old betta fish and am looking into tanks… speaking purely about the well being of the betta fish, does it even matter at all if the tank is square, hexagonal, cylindrical, or spherical?
I went to this pet store to get a tank. The pet store was cold and kind of had a warehouse feel to it. I found the aisle with the tanks and there was only one fish tank left. The tank was about 12 inches long and 6 inches tall. I picked it up and it smelled bad and it was on a discount and no one wanted it. The store owner told me its because there was a ton of dead rodents inside of it. So I bought it for really cheap and shook it like a salt shaker and rodents one after the other just kept sliding out. It really grossed me out but I kept shaking till it was empty, like 20 rodents came out. Then once the tank was clean I decided I needed to get some stones for the bottom of it from a friend. I went back home which was a college that was run in this HUGE hotel (where Ive visited before in other dreams) and I went up the huge stairs in the middle of the lobby and to like the 3rd floor and went right and down the hall to the second to last door (the last door belonged to my xboyfriend who I had visited him before in this hotel in a diff dream). Anyways I went in her room and got distracted and hung out for a while. Then two of my other friends came in and hung out for a bit then left, and they told me I should leave to. I was being stubborn and wouldnt leave, so they after some fighting finally left. A little after they left the girl I was hanging out with turns out was connected with/in some cult worshipping one of the spirits in the way deep basement (I went down there in another dream). Things were flying around and she was floating and possesed and I was really scared. Then it ended and she seemed fine and normal and sitting on her bed like before. I asked for the stones and she gave them to me and then I woke up.

just guess the price ranges im trying to house my fish properly but im broke so once i find a job in a month or 2 ill save up for the tanks and etc..
Normally I would immediately choose the fish store, but all the fish at Petco looked healthy, and at the fish specialty store there were 3-4 tanks with fin rot spreading through them, and some fish placed together that shouldn’t be placed together. Which would be better?

I went to buy a hamster for my sister’s 12th birthday she has been bugging for a teddy bear hamster…..When I looked at the tanks the hamsters labled "teddy bear" and "short hair" looked the same…….
My parents have a hexagon shaped tank in their house and they stock it with fish that never seem to live as long as they should. I would like my parent’s tank to be the best that it can be for the shape that it is and when I learn knew things I pass on the information to them. I’ve been interested in the art of fish keeping and aqua gardening for about a year now and I’ve learned a great deal since I first started the hobby. I was thinking about the aquarium at my parents house and I wonder what species of fish would thrive best in a hexagon shaped aquarium because I know its a very unnatural shape for the aquarium environment. Do you know of any fish that wouldn’t mind living in a tall hexagon aquarium? Please also tell me if you have any of these fish, how old they are, and if they’ve grown since you first got them.

I have a small betta tank that has two male betta fish with a divider. I am finding white secretions from both of them when I try to clean their water or change it. What is that white stuff? Is it diarrhea or sperm? Yuck!! It appears to be at the bottom of their tanks and it has a slimey look to it.
