I have a wonderful and gentle loving Rottweiler who I think (with training I know you have to take) has the potential to be a great therapy dog. I know you have to pass a few tests and take special classes, but I was wondering a few other things. How much does all of this cost to do? And after he gets certified, what do we do? Is it a voulenteer basis only, or are there groups we can join that go into hospitals every so often?
I would love all the steps explained if you could.
Also, I live in Ohio, so where would I go for mine and his training?

i bought my cat’s bed’s and they had a little catnip pouch but it was unopened now when they lay in then they go wacky.
I was just wondering how you get rid of that smell?

So far, the important questions i have would be:
1. Is the fridge frost free? (which is bad if it is)
2. Are there student restrictions? (can there be more than 1 full time student living in the apt?)
3. Are the rooms sound proof? (Is this a party community?)
4. How much is the pet fee and is it per each pet?
5. Are there any discounts such as co-signing with a parent?
6. Are we allowed to paint the apt or put up pictures/nails?
7. How far away is parking?
8. Safety
9. If you sign a year lease will prices change on us?
10. If damages or problems go unresolved or are too big to be fixed, do we get a new room?
11. Do all items work? How long has it been since they where checked/upgraded?
12. How much time is given for items to be fixed?
13. Can i see the apt.?

first of all, does anyone know the right spelling for this dog? how much are full blooded puppies sold for, how big do they get, how much do they weigh, etc..

As of today (march 23, 2008) i have a female puppy (mixed breed chihuahua) with me that was born on february 15, 2008, so it is almost 6 weeks old. The mother passed away a day ago and now the puppy is in my care, and i don’t know what the next step is, as far as what shots i need to get for it and just what i should do for it in general. any advice? anything helps! thanks a bunch!
I bought some tartar control cat treats, but I’m not sure how many treats to give my cats. There aren’t any instructions or guidelines on the package.
My older cat is about 5 and 7 pounds. She’s never liked treats and I didn’t expect her to like these, but she does. I also recently got a kitten.

I have a German Shepard puppy he’s five months old and he barks excessively and I was wondering what are good dog bark control collars out there and a cheap price. And also can someone tell me about Silent Whistles do they work for bark control and other training purposes ? Thanks a Bunch – Nao.
PS I dont believe in Shock collars. I think they are inhumane.
