Short of ripping up my carpet, how do I get extremly strong dog urine out of my carpet? I have shampooed it twice and used some vinegar on it. Any other suggestions?

I’ve tried vinegar, soap, pet deodorizer (for urine), sprays, warm water etc. NOTHING is helping, it smells horrible. It’s really bugging me, what do I do?

The dog is house-trained; we just moved in when she started doing this out of behavioral issues.
That doesn’t help. T.T

During the past week, my diabetic dog has been peeing on tile floors in our house. We’ve tried S(p)ic & Span, antibacterial soap, and a spray bottle of some sort of tile cleaner from Armstrong. Even though we think we’ve cleaned up, walking on the floor is like walking on an old movie theater floor that’s coated in dried-on coke because of the high glucose levels in his urine. What can I do?

Added detail: He had been under the care of a vet for the past six months and receiving insulin injections 2x daily. I had to put him to sleep today because his condition worsened over the last two weeks. Besides the healthy memories, I’m also left with the unfortunate cosmetic effects left behind. WHAT’S THE RATIO I SHOULD MIX FOR THE VINEGAR TO WATER-OR SHOULD I LEAVE THE VINEGAR UNCUT ON THE FLOOR?

I just moved into an apartment, and aparantley someone spilled some fish or something on the counter, it wreaks of it, and I have tried everything.

Baking soda
aking soda and vinegar
straight vinegar
fresh lemon rubbed on it
Lemon juice rubbed on it
Ajax
Sos pad (this is what originally released the smell.. a hot wet sos pad.. I had no idea it smelled until this)

I was wondering if anyone has used this natures miracle for anything besides animal urine. And if this might solve my problem?
Thanks for the suggestion.. but I am afraid that the bleach will remove some of the colored design on the counter..
Yes I know what category I’m in. I just thought that cat owners might be more likely to buy the product, and may have used it on other household problems. I asked in cleaning and laundry, 0 responses. No one seems to know what to do for this problem.

I have tried cleaning the whole thing, i have tried cleaning it daily when i get home from school. We don’t have normal household stuff around like vinegar because we never cook, and our family isn’t really the goodie goodie classic family that has all the household materials people talk about (Measuring cups, sugar, salt, cooking oil, and things like that) how do I get it to stop?? It smells like cat pee, i’v shampooed the carpet, so it’s not our cat.

Were getting ready to move out of our apartment and we need to get a few places of dog urine out of the carpet. We have a steam cleaner and it helps but its not perfect. We have tried oxy clean, spot shot, and my husband is now trying vinegar. Anyone have ideas of the best thing to get stains out of carpet?

can i clean my cage with dish soap?? Ive also her vinegar is good?? Would i mix the vinegar with warm water?? I live in an apartment and my cage is kinda big so i cant just stick in my little bath tub or take it outside. so any suggestions would be great! Thanks!!

I have a cat who loves to scratch my sofa arms. I got a scratch post and it helps, but now I am also getting a Lazy-Boy and I really don’t want to see those posts all over the furniture.
Dose someone have any home solution? Vinegar, essential oils? etc.

have a rescued wheaten terrier who just smells of urine all the time —bathed him 5 times in the first week he was here. I have tried sprinkling baking soda on him and brushing it out and putting on "doggie cologne"—these were all short lived. Have not tried adding a little vinegar to his rinse yet. Looking for some imput.

I have a heated carpet cleaner, have tried urine gone, used vinegar and ammonia along with countless over the counter products and still I smell my dogs urine? Please help as the Yahoo team always comes up with good answers, Thank you in advance.
