What can i use to put in my dog's crate for her bedding that she won't chew to shreds?
We have used old bed comforters and even bought her a dog bed from Sam’s that had a canvas like material cover. All chewed to shreds!! I have heard things like hay or hampster bedding but don’t want it all over the kitchen floor which is where we keep her crate. The dog is a 11 month old American Bulldog.

Don’t put anything in the crate.
Newspaper.
My dog destroys beds in her crate as well. After buying her several, we finally gave up and now she gets old towels in her crate. She still occasionally tears them, but at least it’s a whole lot cheaper than buying your dog a new bed every time!
If you don’t have any old rag towels, you can probably go to your local thrift store and find some for cheap.
Sounds like you have a chewer just like me LOL. Brute chews everything in site.He is almost 14 months old.I found this post below. It sounds like just about the only thing is to spray the bedding with a deterrent. I even made some of brutes toys out of a very durable cloth I didn’t think he could destroy but what a laugh. He destroyed it in no time. Good luck. If you search out chewing puppies there are a lot of articles you will find. Some interesting reading have fun
I know someone who had the same problem with their young boxer. They finally bought a kuranda bed to put in his crate and that is the only thing he has not been able to destroy. I’d imagine it would have to be a pretty big crate to fit one of those, but if you already have a large crate (or if you want an indestructible bed to keep outside of the crate) I’d suggest a kuranda bed.
That’s a tough one, especially when dogs like to chew, they won’t let anything stop them. My dog is a lab, so I’m not sure how much they chew compared to a Bulldog, but mine does chew. We found these eco-friendly blankets that are pretty tough and we still have the same one we bought initially. They help the environment too, so maybe you could look into one of these. Hope this helps!
don’t let it sleep separate from you yet , at 11 months their chewing everything , exposed wires , chairs anything!. Get some good hard rubber chew toys , i suggest getting a few cause dogs are always picky on what toy is their favorite and if you get the wrong one they’ll just continue chewing everything else. once the dog decides which is its favorite go out and buy a few extra this helps if it goes missing or gets too over chewed.
Also be very strict if your too loving to the dog it will see this as a weakness and will make its claim as leader of the pack. You need to make it clear that chewing bedding , chairs and wires is wrong , show agression and put it outside in the garden. don’t start petting it and hugging it when it comes back in that just underminds what you tried to teach it.
