What is the best shaped tank for a betta fish?

I have a 2 month old betta fish and am looking into tanks… speaking purely about the well being of the betta fish, does it even matter at all if the tank is square, hexagonal, cylindrical, or spherical?

Since bettas ar typically hardy fishes, the shape will barely matter in terms of survival as long as its over 2.5 gallons. The best aquarium size for a betta is, however, 5 gallons.
A hexagonal tank is unique in shape and would nomally be a great decoration for the house. it is space efficient. However, the numerous surface and intersecting lines of the tank makes it sensitive and vulnerable to leakage. the slightest mistake in installment would lead to a leakage.
Spherical shaped tankas are normally referred to as the fish bowl. a fish bowl is not a very nice tank. it barely has enough space for proper filtration systems and the small mouth opening at the top makes the dissipation of carbon dioxide in efficient
cylindrical aquariums are rare and normally expensive. they are much like hexagonal tanks but with less intersecting surfaces.
The traditional square or rectangular tank is easy to place, adds a nice decor to any room and is, in its own right the most practical shape of tank. it has little intersecting lines which makes it more resistant to leakage than hexagonal counterparts and has a huge amount of surface area for efficient dissipation of carbon dioxide. its surface area also makes room for great filtration. the downside is that it is a common shape of tank.
Its up to you to weigh the pros and cons, however, i would highly suggest you take the rectangular/square tank for safety.
Doesnt matter really. MAke sure its at least 2.5 gallons. You also need a filter and heater.
It’s doesn’t matter what shape it is, just make sure it’s at least 2.5 gallon with a heater and a filter.
As long as its atleast 5 gallons with a filter and a heater it does not really matter
bettas come from shallow waters so a shallow tank may be a good option
