take drugs and underage drink leave yourself no education alternatives but drive a van around washing grooming clipping fu****kd up peoples(like paris hilton) pampered pooches covered in fleas and stink like a dog. still sound like a romantic income. still!!
ask the groomer in your area – where they learned the trade
start to work for a pet day care and learn from experince people find a mentor already who does it
Start by volunteering at a vet or an animal shelter, it will show you have expierence with animals.
Apply for a job as an assistant at a local pet store like Petsmart or Petco. Even animal grooming places need assistants. Stay on the job until you feel you have learned what you need to be a good animal groomer. Many people get their start with a mobile grooming service, or maybe, once you are trained, you can advertise in your neighborhood and make house calls.
It shouldn’t take more than a year or so to be ready to have your own business–if that’s what you want.
check your local area or phone book for a school i know here you half to provide all the grooming supplies plus pay to go i at one time wanted to learn to groom but i just learned to groom my schnauzer so i could cut him at home and that was fine with me.
